My name is Lucia and I don't go anywhere without my Monsters!

 

"Monsters in my head" is a project I started just for fun, which has soon turned into a very special artistic journey. 

Inspired by the Japanese Kawaii style and Asian culture, these chubby, funny and playful creatures come straight out of my head to make us smile and remind us to enjoy the little things in life.

 

I both work with pencils/markers and iPad Pro (Procreate and Sketchbook Pro). At the moment, I'm slowly illustrating my first children's story and planning to open a tiny online shop soon. 

 

Born and raised in Italy (Fabriano, Marche) in 1989, I lived for five years in Melbourne, Australia, where I worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. I'm very passionate about music, movies, food, tea & coffee, travels, books and everything's magical and weird.
